during the last week of our holiday, Karen decided that there being a horse chestnut tree in the garden dropping so many conkers onto the ground, a conker tournament was needed. She won. Even though our friend Glen tried to cheat by baking his in the oven the night before (did you know conkers explode if over heated? ... very impressive mess they made too).
