On Photographers Rights

Interesting story. The same "no photography" policy applies at Bristol Temple Meads, one of the world's more beautiful railway stations. And at The Mall Bristol and, I'm sure it will apply at the monstrous lump of concrete that is Cabot shopping mall.

It seems that where photography is concerned we have now adopted the Napoleonic code where the onus is to prove innocence rather than guilt.

Should we look back in 10 years and bemoan the lack of a first decade Cartier-Bresson or Arbus or even Parr, here will lie our explanation "you can't take photographs here".
